When is the best time to return for photos? Let me tell you!

I tell clients the most popular times to photograph in the first year are newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year.

But anytime you photograph your family is a good time for photos, anytime you feel the need to capture a little moment in time before it slips away 🥹

Chicago is also a wonderful location to capture the different seasons. Spring, summer and fall are all unique to one another and allow for such beautiful and diverse backgrounds.

And if you know a good photographer (wink wink) they should let you know all the hidden outdoor gems for photos and what time of year to visit.

Already dreaming of summer 2025 🕊️

But let’s not sleep on spring! I have had clients reach out already to sneak on the calendar for spring of 2025.

Now that the secrets out that I’m due with my baby boy #2 this April, I won’t be available personally for sessions but my team of photographers will be taking on all sessions during my leave!

Josselyn, Johana and Katie will be updated on the very best locations, timeframes, when flowers will be in bloom and when to avoid what areas (like if there is a tulip parade, prom goers or Easter egg hunts that take over the parks!)

We will be officially opening our calendars in January if you want a spring session.
