I finished up my part time job this weekend. I have been working downtown every summer for a tour company and this summer is sadly over for me. Its bitter sweet. I have been working there for 4 years now and its finally time to say goodbye. I pray and pray for God to bless me with more sessions to support myself fully on this business. It might sound crazy but Ive been consistently working three jobs for the past year to meet financial goals and all the while, work full time at school. Whew its been a busy/crazy/dramatic year! But I am finally able to say.... I am *finally* down to one job...photography. Its always been my dream to successfully run my own business. I was never really sure when I could even let go of all my other jobs. How do you ever really know when its going to be possible? Well thats why I have been praying. Praying for guidance, and for God to bless me with more opportunities. So with that being said, I am not full time in my photography business and I will have much more availability to schedule and book sessions during the week and even during the weekends. I so look forward to seeing everyone and working with my littlest of clients :)
Anyways, I wanted to also talk about the photos on this blog, my dear friend and her family wanted a family session with me! I was absolutely thrilled. This family is beautiful and so close knit. I loved seeing how they interact with one another. The kids are all around the same age and are leaving for college within the next year. I have known the daughter for a couple of years now and she has become such a beautiful young adult wanting to teach k-5th grade classes and I am so looking forward to see this happen for her.
