We received a stunning newborn session with Abigail in her beautiful, light filled Oak Park studio. It’s not easy working with an active toddler and a newborn, but Abigail was never phased, put us at ease, and completely leaned into it! Newborn safety was a top priority which is always appreciated. My husband and I did maternity photos with Abbey. She was not only amazing behind the camera but she made doing these photos so much fun. She made us feel at ease throughout the session. She made sure if I needed a break or a snack. She made sure to look at my inspo pictures and made sure we did each shot. My husband honestly was not looking forward to doing the shoot as he hates taking photos. After we were done he told me how much fun he had. We love Abigail Joyce Photography! We have used Abbey from maternity session to newborn to a mini session when she was one year old. The natural light studio in Oak Park is stunning! This results in the PERFECTLY exposed images. There is also an excellent collection of gowns for mom, baby, and even shirts for husbands who need some matching help. ;) Abbey is a truly skilled photographer with such an artistic eye! She always makes us feel at ease like we are hanging out at a friend’s house and helps pose to make sure everyone looks their very best. We have worked with Abbey for a family session in 2022 and most recently, a maternity session for baby #2. She is so kind and easy to work with and makes you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. She’s focused on every detail in order to get the perfect shot. She was especially great with my 2-year-old daughter and got her to smile for every single picture (not an easy feat).
