I have been very busy this past couple of weeks with my two jobs,
my photography business and other events. Tonight I am taking photos for the Sportsball Fundraiser in OakBrook. This is my third event for Sportsball that I have taken photos for and I love it. It’s a chance to give back to the community and I am so glad I am able to do something for someone that means so much and I am able to enjoy it as well. The past couple of days though, I have been creating my very own newborn bonnets. I found online some photos of fabric bonnets and I was able to look at the photos and recreate them in my own unique way. Thankfully I live close to a Hobby Lobby and I bought only $20 worth of fabrics, ribbons and other accessories. It also helps when your mom has a private stash of ribbons and fabrics : ) She let me dig through her collection which was very nice and generous of her. Here are just a couple of the bonnets that I made. I am very proud of my work on these. They were so simple and they turned out just the way I was hoping for. Hopefully I will be able to use them very soon! Some of my newer clients are pregnant, so now were just playing the waiting game. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love. For now I will just prepare for those sweet newborn sessions. If you or anyone you know would be interested in a newborn session, please contact me here. It’s my email address and I would love to hear from you! Thanks and have a great weekend.
