Children sessions/ Family sessions

You may be pretty excited about it- you will finally have a photo framed in your living room of the family. But your kiddos might not be on board. Please don’t put too much pressure on the kids. We want them to be happy at the session, not too stressed out. Once you start telling them throughout the week how important it is for them to smile and reminding them about the session, they might start acting strange at the session.

Please allow me some space to get the kiddos to smile! We both want these photos to look nice.

I have done hundreds of session with kids! I want you to be able to relax and enjoy this moment to watch and not get in-between the camera and the kids.

Newborn sessions, a whole different ball game.

***I need only one parent with me in the room at all times. This person is there to be my spotter. (someone that is close enough to the newborn to spot them and make sure they don’t move. Safety is key)

I will not allow dogs, more than one child, or more than 1-2 parents in the room with me.

The reasoning behind this is because newborns can sense chaos. If the room is extremely chaotic, the newborn will not sleep peacefully. Please do not play music loudly, or have a TV on in the same room that we are photographing in. Please do not invite your friends or grandparents/parents to come over to watch the session. Again, only 1 or 2 people in the room. (Preferably *just* Mom and Dad) Thank you for your cooperation!

Your newborn photos are important, its the first week of your new baby and we want to capture that beautiful life. Please don’t ruin your chances of not getting those perfect shots.

A couple of things Id like to let you know about for the session are:
The day of the session please keep your newborn awake for at least an hour before the session
15 minutes before the session, please start feeding him/her so she will be very tired for us.
